Public Chess Extravaganza to invade HWT Transport Centre - Again!!!

On Friday March 13, another Public Chess Extravaganza will invade the Half-Way Tree Transport Center from 12 - 5 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to Learn To Play Chess, register for the upcoming Magnificent Chess UWI Open Tournament, play the Giant Chess game and participate in the Simultaneous Game against National Master Shane Matthews.

During the last Extravaganza, Ministers Mike Henry and Andrew Holness attended and pledged their financial support for different Magnificent Chess Projects. Minister Holness sat transfixed at his chess board during a 3 hour game against FIDE Master Jomo Pitterson.
